Our Fun PE Rotations

In Te Ngahere we have been doing PE rotations.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about I’m saying that we

are learning how to get good or learn how to play sports.

When we went to learn different sports we went in house groups.

I am in Rimu and Rimu was practising netball I was so excited because I love playing netball.

The most challenging thing was that we had to balance and when

I was balancing I thought I was going to fall.

My fun learning About Key Words And Poems

In Te Ngahere we have been learning how to find keywords in a poem.  Key words are little parts of what you want to right. So if you want to type up something long you should use little parts of it and it will come up with what you wanted to type up. It will also come up with more examples of what you wanted to type up. had to find five examples of what grinds its teeth over the grass and what spits out a thick green spray.

(My example) I chose a lawn mower for my first answer  was a lawn mower because a lawn mower grinds its blades acting as teeth to cut the grass and it spits out thick green spray. After that I got four more ancwers like animals and more things like lawn mowers. The most challenging part of this project was when we had to find five examples and make sure they have and do everything that the poem says.

I liked this subject because we got to find and learn things that do what the poem says.

Do you know anything that grinds its teeth over the grass spitting out a thick green spray?

Amazing Direction Following

In Te Ngahere we got given a paper with instructions on it. The instructions were a test for us to see if we would read everything carefully and to see if we would read the whole thing not little snips and bits of it. I thought the first instruction said “I should read it carefully” but it means I have to read all of the instructions carefully before I start the test. We had to read all of the instructions carefully because the last instruction was that we only had to do the first and second instruction and I did the instructions up to instruction 17 so I didn’t read the first step carefully. The teacher called us down to the mat to tell us if we did the test right or wrong one student almost finished it until he went back and did the rest of the instructions so none of my whole class got this test right. The challenging part was reading the test carefully. We did this test to see if we read the success criteria carefully.

Do you read things carefully?
